Majesty, Power & Resilience
VINCE WARREN was born in a rural town in Idaho, where he was quickly introduced to the outdoors by his father. Warren developed an interest in art at an early age and began his photographic journey taking pictures of wildlife and landscapes after being given a simple camera for his twelfth birthday. He went on to study at Oregon Health Science University and worked as a photographer there for twenty years, contributing to scientific journals, books, and grant applications. Warren’s work has been displayed in galleries, at art fairs, and online, and he has contributed images to the Oregon Scenic Byways and other publications.
Warren has travelled much of the Western United States via auto, bicycle, and backcountry hiking and backpacking. Many images of wildlife, landscapes, historical sites, and natural wilderness areas have been recorded during his travels. He continues to add to his library of images in appreciation of these wild and undisturbed places. Warren’s work helps to preserve these places in photographs with the hope that everyone who follows behind him will also respect nature by leaving no trace.
